Information
Cockeysville Rec Council will be sponsoring an after-school field hockey program for Cockeysville Middle School students in the 6th, 7th, and 8th.
- We encourage athletes that have played field hockey and those that do not have playing experience to join!
- We will be teaching the rules, skills, and strategies of the game.
- Depending on registration numbers, try-outs may be necessary.
Registration
Registration will open Summer 2026.
Registration Cost
The total cost to participate will be $150.

Practices & Transportation
- Practices will be held at County Home Park or Cockeysville Middle School – Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3 PM - 4:30 PM.
- Players can walk to County Home Park or receive transportation from parents/guardians.
- Carpooling is also an option if needed.
Games
- The team will have games against local public and private schools.
- Players can expect to have 1-2 games a week.
- Parents/guardians are expected to provide transportation to away games.
Uniforms
Players will receive a reversible shirt and skirt to wear for games.
These will be returned at the end of the season.
Equipment
- Field hockey stick
- Shin guards
- Mouth guard (not clear)
- Water bottle
- Field hockey goggles - OPTIONAL
- Field hockey corner masks - OPTIONAL
