CRC and CMS Partnership
Cockeysville Recreation Council (CRC) sponsors several programs that give Cockeysville Middle School (CMS) students opportunities to connect with their peers—through athletic activities and social events organized by CYC.
These programs are open to current Cockeysville Middle School (CMS) students. They are designed to build school spirit, foster friendships, and encourage camaraderie among CMS students. These are not sponsored by BCPS.

Sports
CMS Sports:
Cockeysville Recreation Council (CRC) partners with Cockeysville Middle School (CMS) to offer students additional sports programs beyond those sponsored by Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS).
These programs give CMS students the opportunity to compete with their classmates against other area schools in a fun, team-oriented environment.

Cockeysville Youth Center (CYC)
CYC is a parent-run program that provides fun and safe social activities for CMS students. It is organized by CMS parents and volunteers in partnership with CRC.
CYC typically takes place on select Friday evenings (7-9:30 p.m.) throughout the school year and features:
- DJ and dancing
- Gym sports
- Ping pong
- Other games and activities
The next event - Jingle Ball - is scheduled for Friday, December 12.
Cockeysville Middle
CRC sponsors several programs to give CMS students an opportunity to play with their school peers in athletics as well as the social gatherings organized by CYC.
