Cockeysville Rec Council will be sponsoring an after-school field hockey program for Cockeysville Middle School students in the 6th, 7th, and 8th.

We encourage athletes that have played field hockey and those that do not have playing experience to join! We will be teaching the rules, skills, and strategies of the game. Depending on registration numbers, try-outs may be necessary.

The total cost to participate will be $150.

Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Practices will be held at County Home Park or Cockeysville Middle School – Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3 PM - 4:30 PM.

Players can walk to County Home Park or receive transportation from parents/guardians. Carpooling is also an option if needed.

The team will have games against local public and private schools. A game schedule will be provided to the parents/guardians and players once it is created. Players can expect to have 1-2 games a week. Parents/guardians are expected to provide transportation to away games.

Interested in helping with the team? We are always looking for volunteers for a variety of roles in order to allow for this program to continue for many years to come.
